Who let the.......

.....sorry, had to stop myself and resist the urge to call this post "who let the dogs out." If you've seen the "Pet" gallery on my site, you'll notice that the majority of the pictures are of our Border Terrier, Otis. Last weekend we went to see our breeder www.windwardborderterriers.com to see the newest pups. These little guys are about 8 weeks old. If you're looking for a friendly, small sized, family dog, definitely consider a Border Terrier!

Also, if you're thinking about getting a dog, check out the Purina International Kennel Club of Chicago dog show this weekend at McCormick Place http://www.ikcdogshow.com/ It's one of the largest shows in the country, and a great opportunity to see and meet breeders with experience in just about any and all types of purebread dogs.

Congratulations Lindsey & Joe!

I never fully understood why couples get married in the middle of winter, especially in a city like Chicago. However as I'm sitting here typing this post, drinking hot chocolate to stay warm, Lindsey & Joe are now on their honeymoon, sipping cool and colorful drinks decorated with paper umbrellas. I think I now see the appeal of a winter wedding!

Happy Birthday!

This past weekend was my nephew's first birthday. If you've seen the families and kids galleries on my site, you might recognize him as one of my more popular subjects!

He didn't quite get the hang of the "smash" cake, but I guess he needed to keep his cute face clean for the pictures!



Nonetheless, he's still the center of attention!

Now that I've gotten my picture posting issues out of the way thanks to firefox www.firefox.com I can get back to posting. I had the opportunity to photograph several loan officers at Bank of America Home Mortgage www.bankofamerica.com last week. If you need a mortgage loan, Steve Bensinger is your guy. Still in the dark

There's not much point to having a blog about a photography business if you can't post any pictures, right? For some reason I haven't been able to post any pictures to my blog using Internet Explorer 7. I push the button to add pictures, and nothing happens! Apparently bloggers picture posting button works with FireFox, so I may have to check that out and give it a try. Stay tuned.....
